Sleep Behavior Consultation
Sleep is essential for our mental and physical wellbeing. Sleep disruption is attributed to circadian cycles, stress, and new life events. Utilizing applied behavior analysis, the BCBA will determine the deficits surrounding the child’s sleep and provide individualized interventions to assist in improving the quality of sleep. Services include:
Initial assessment
Data collection
Sleep intervention plan
Weekly meetings
The BCBA will assist the family with developing a healthy sleep routine, nighttime waking interventions, gradual steps towards the child sleeping in their own room (at the appropriate age), and sleep monitoring for teens. Services are provided for infants through teenage sleep development.
